Thanks to their Community volunteering Tom and Bettina have been lucky to meet a lot of wonderful people and take pride in being able to introduce people to one another.

Bettina was the Chair of the Downtown Improvement Committee in Dobbs Ferry for 10 years during which time she orchestrated, with the help of her colleagues on the committee, the rebirth of the annual street fair, the Ferry Festa which is held in the Fall. This is the biggest block party she has arranged!

She also started the farmers market in Dobbs Ferry thanks to the cooperation of Westchester Greenhouses, Hartsdale which continue bringing us fresh produce every Friday in season.

In addition to teaching at Mercy she was the International Film Festival coordinator for two years.

As a member of Riverarts, she hosted several events in people's homes.

Meanwhile, Tom has been a member of the Frostbiters in Mamaroneck and has hosted a few parties of his own as well as for the Tai Chi group which meets in Hastings on Hudson.

In their private life, Tom and Bettina organize a variety of dinners, cocktail parties and meet and greet events.
